Having Problems with a Podcast?Troubleshooting:- Many LEAs will block any new site until access has been requested by teachers. Please contact your LEA webmaster and request that your school be given access to www.thefaculties.org and our subsites (ie www.theenglishfaculty.org, www.themathsfaculty.org etc.)
- The Faculties web sites have been built to be compatible with the latest operating systems and browsers and whilst the majority of our content is backwards compatible, some content may not function as intended if your hardware or software is not up to date.
- If you are experiencing problems with any of our content please check to see if other podcasts on this site are functioning properly. If other podcasts are displaying properly please use the form below to let us know which individual podcast is not displaying.
- If no podcasts are displaying properly, please ensure that you are using the most up to date version of your preferred browser. Please also ensure that any third party plugins (Flash, Quicktime, Java) are up to date. It is also necessary to ensure that any security systems you have installed on your hardware are not blocking the site or its content.
- Please be aware that the file sizes associated with our podcasts can be quite large, therefore connection speeds can be an issue when viewing our content. If you experience jumpy or stuttered viewing of a podcast, please pause it and allow it to buffer fully before resuming. Alternatively, bookmark the page and view again when you have a better connection to the internet.
- If viewing on a metered mobile network please also be aware that viewing our podcasts online may incur significant charges from your network provider.
